We appreciate that living in our - or any - intentional community isn’t for everyone, though many of you may resonate with what we’re about nonetheless, and feel inspired to support us.

We are a pioneering, independent project, run cooperatively by volunteers. If you would like to support us as a whole, or feel drawn to supporting a particular value or aspect of what we are striving to create, we would be delighted to receive any relevant resources that you have to give.

We will be planting orchard, nut and native trees, and wildlife hedges. Donating to this focus of Larkrise is an easy way to offset your carbon footprint.

Larkrise is founded on the principles of permaculture and preserving nature’s ecology. Supporting Larkrise is a direct way to support a cultivation of the best possible environment for wildlife.

Perhaps you’d like to fundraise…

    • Get baking and host a cake sale. Try adding gluten free and vegan recipes to your repertoire to broaden your appeal.

    • Give up gifts. Ask friends and family to make a donation to Larkrise instead of buying birthday or Christmas gifts.

    • Clear out your clutter. Hold a garage or car boot sale and put the proceeds towards your fund.

    • Get active. Set yourself a sponsored running, walking or cycling challenge.

    • Get together. Organise a coffee morning or afternoon tea for neighbours, friends and family.

    • Organise games like football or rounders, a treasure hunt or chess tournament and ask participants or spectators to buy tickets.

    • Arrange a sponsored dog walk for your pets furry pas (and their owners).

    • Take a group bike, hike or 3k run together.

    • Walk or cycle to work. Challenge your colleagues to try a greener, healthier commute by ditching the car. If it’s too far to walk or cycle, why not try the train or bus?

    • Throw an office bake off. Get your colleagues competing for the best cakes and biscuits, then see the results.

    • Swap the coffee. Ask colleagues to donate the cost of their morning coffees for a month.

    • Get quizzing. Hand out quiz sheets and ask for a donation to enter. Or run a sweepstake on a contestant knockout TV show or sporting event.
